Part1: HSE Officer Job Description for Construction
- Support the Management and HSE team with planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
- Provide support to the project and operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, and environmental issues.
- Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as client requirements.
- Functions as a team leader as well as a trainer.
- Ensure emergency response systems, policies, and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.
- Preparing/ reviewing of risk analysis/risk assessment as per work method of statement.
- Conduct accident/incident investigation and report making.
- Monitoring health, safety, and environmental risks and hazards in the workplace and implementing effective mitigation measures.
- Coordinating all training programs to achieve compliance and manage risk.
- Organize an HSE tour with the management and client representatives and generate reports with performance scores.
- Organize Emergency drills (Evacuation, Environmental response, and medical response) at frequent intervals.
- Lead and participate in 1st and 2nd party audits.
- Preparing weekly and monthly HSE performance statistics and generating presentations to senior administrators.
- Tracks health, safety, and environmental Matrices and uses data to identify and reduce risk.
- Ensure all implemented periodic inspections are following (i.e. Pant & Equipment, power tools, fall arresters, Fire Extinguishers etc.)
